INVNT Takes Home Telly Awards for Storytelling Across Generative AI and Documentary Film

At the 2026 annual Telly Awards, honored alongside top winners including Paramount’s South Park, Marriott International, and Deloitte, INVNT received recognition in the inaugural Best Use of Generative AI category for our work with SHRM, and in the Non-Scripted & Documentary category for our continued partnership with PatientPoint®.

SHRM Membership Unlocking Earns Telly Award in Inaugural Best Use of Generative AI Category

The 47th Annual Telly Awards marks a milestone year for the ceremony, introducing Generative AI as an official honors category for the first time. INVNT’s recognition in that category places the agency among a select group of pioneers defining what AI-powered storytelling can look and feel like on a world stage.

Unlocking Membership

Created as the opening film for SHRM25 in San Diego, Membership Unlocking premiered across a massive main stage LED environment in front of more than 15,000 attendees. It was the catalyst for SHRM’s flagship annual conference, fully produced by INVNT. Across the multi-day experience, the event streamed more than 330 breakout sessions, with notable voices including Jason Sudeikis, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, President Joe Biden, Paula Faris.

Rather than deploying generative AI as spectacle, the film explored how these technologies can function as genuine creative instruments expanding visual storytelling while remaining emotionally grounded and conceptually intentional. Developed using creative artificial intelligence tools, including ChatGPT, Sora, WAN, and Runway, the piece was driven by custom creative direction, editorial development, voiceover, sound design, and visual inspiration frameworks led by the INVNT team.

Built around themes of imagination, curiosity, and perspective, the film challenged audiences to reconsider labor, creativity, and human potential through a surreal yet human-centered lens. The result: a visually immersive opening experience that earned INVNT a place among the first-ever Telly honorees in a category that is actively reshaping the industry.

Patient Journeys Takes Home Telly Award for Non-Scripted & Documentary Campaign

Patient Journeys approached healthcare storytelling with resistant emotional clarity. The series centered on the individuals living within those realities and the quiet resilience that shapes daily life around illness, caregiving, treatment, and recovery.

Samantha & Wendell’s Alzheimer’s Patient Journey

Samantha and Wendell’s experience navigating Alzheimer’s together explores caregiving not as obligation, but as enduring companionship. Small moments of joy, creativity, and connection become the emotional architecture of the story — an honest portrait of love reshaped by memory loss.

Dan’s Patient Journey with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Dan’s experience living with ALK-positive NSCLC examines what happens after survival becomes a possibility. Grounded in family life and everyday ritual, the story reflects on treatment, gratitude, and the renewed perspective that can emerge through uncertainty.

Pamela’s Patient Journey with COPD

Pamela’s unmistakable optimism and candor capture a life interrupted and gradually reclaimed. Her experience balances vulnerability with humor and determination, transforming medical innovation into something deeply human.

Together, these projects reflect a creative range spanning documentary filmmaking, branded content, live experience storytelling, and emerging technology while remaining anchored in a singular idea: the most impactful stories are the ones that feel unmistakably human.

Congratulations to our fellow winners, nominees, collaborators, and global teams whose creativity and dedication made this work possible. Thank you to the Telly Awards for this honor and recognition. Explore all 47th Annual Telly Awards honorees in the Winner’s Gallery!
