CHALLENGE

Hitachi enlisted INVNT to support the company with the delivery of their 2024 Sales Launch. Instead of a live event, Hitachi centered their sales launch on the screening of a film, Hitachi Unplugged – Rewrite the Rules, that would be displayed in 20 cinemas worldwide. The film would look forward into Hitachi’s growth strategy while looking back on the incredible teamwork that enabled it.

STRATEGY

We chased the sun around the globe, going live from east to west. INVNT’s remit included cinema research and sourcing, focusing on a consistent cinema experience while accommodating varied audience sizes. We worked with Hitachi to bring alive the Unplugged branding at every touchpoint. Examples include bespoke popcorn boxes, stylish pin badges and custom physical event branding.

IMPACT

From Tokyo to San Francisco, this screening gathered 1728 sales staff from 15 countries. Feedback from this innovative sales launch was overwhelmingly positive, with INVNT’s fresh approach providing a template for several years to come.
