Aquatar: The World’s Most Interactive and Advanced Real-Time 3D Encyclopedia

BACKGROUND
We were challenged to inspire and educate attendees of Expo 2020 Dubai towards more sustainable water practices and innovative efforts to reduce, recycle and reinvent packaging. In Aquafina’s glistening pavilion in the global fair’s ‘Sustainability’ district, we delivered a high-tech experience with “Aquatar”: the 3D water encyclopedia that shares facts on the human body’s relationship to water. Upon engaging, guests are transformed into water and water particles are displayed on a larger-than-life curved projection wall – all in real time.

OPPORTUNITY
At the Aquafina Drop Pavilion, guests were transformed into digital avatars made of water, unveiling facts about the essential role water plays for the body and the planet. Continuing the experience, attendees engaged in an interactive water game that challenged them to explore sustainable water practices and innovative efforts aimed at reducing, recycling, and reinventing packaging.
